If you’ve been following the blog, you’ve heard me talk about why green smoothies are one of the easiest, healthiest foods you can make. Today I would like to share a very simple recipe for a delicious green drink- the Green Pineapple Cooler. It’s perfect for summer and takes just a minute to grab the ingredients and blend!
Green Pineapple Cooler
makes 2 servings
What you’ll need:
- 2 cups greens (I used spinach and kale)
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 1 cup non-dairy milk (I used unsweetened almond)
*optional- for a slightly sweeter smoothie add 2 dates or 2 tsp agave
Blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy right away!
I enjoyed my smoothie for breakfast with a banana truffle- can’t wait to share the recipe for this treat later this week!
