Nouri Bar Review & Giveaway!

Today we’re giving away some treats!

I started this blog with the intention of spreading the word about food that’s good for you and the planet. I’ve always loved to share recipes and can chat all day about organic produce, healthy food, ethically minded companies and natural home remedies (all that crunchy stuff). As The Colorful Kitchen has grown, one of the unexpected perks has been getting to connect with other bloggers, organizations and companies who have similar interests. Today I’m very excited to share my review of Nouri Bar, an organic, vegan and gluten-free snack bar company that provides a meal for a child in need for every bar purchased- how cool is that?

As a health coach I’m always on the lookout for on-the-go snacks I can recommend to my clients to make their lives a little easier. There are so many snack/energy bars out there that are loaded with unpronounceable ingredients and tons of sugar so I’m happy to report that the three Nouri Bar flavors all have short ingredient lists with familiar items like nuts, fruit and hemp protein. And did I mention that they are super tasty? I sampled all three flavors: Apple Cinnamon Spice (possibly my favorite but it was very close), Creamy Cashew and Wild Cherry and I would recommend them all! I’ll definitely be stocking up for camping trips, hiking excursions and plane snacks.

What I appreciate most about these bars is that they taste like the kind of bar I would want to make at home but each time you purchase and enjoy one you’re also feeding a child in need. Curious to sample them for yourself? I’ll be randomly selecting one winner to receive their own Nouri Bar sample pack. Simply leave a comment below to enter to win! *The winner will be selected after 7 days.

  1. What a wonderful company to support! To give to someone to gives is how we keep the cycle going. Thanks for sharing information on them. I’ll keep an eye out for them, as I’m always looking for good bars to take hiking and camping when my health isn’t allowing me to be in the kitchen all day. Though, I’m not sure that they are in the health food stores of Montana. I haven’t seen them to try, taste and support. It’s on my list! Thanks.

  2. Those look delicious! I’m always looking for a quick snack to take with me to the airport, since finding healthy snacks there can be difficult and incredibly expensive

  3. They sound great! I think it’s fantastic that the company feeds a child in need with the purchase of each bar. I can’t wait to try them! 🙂
