The Colorful Kitchen X 8fit Recipes!
Hi friends! Today I’m really excited to share a fun collaboration I’ve been working on.
You might already be familiar with the super popular fitness app 8fit. If you aren’t, it’s an app that provides customized fitness and nutrition plans. They’ve already got tons delicious-looking plant-based recipes on their app, but when they asked me to create an easy-to-make (and colorful!) breakfast, lunch and dinner recipe, I was super excited to say YES!
The recipes will be live on the 8fit app next month, but below is a sneak peek at the three recipes I created that you’ll exclusively find there…
Breakfast: Green Smoothie Power Bowl
Lunch: Thai Peanut Quinoa Salad
Dinner: Black Bean Chili
Now let’s chat a little about 8fit. After you input your goals, a custom workout and meal plan is created for you! There are more than 700 easy-to-make recipes on the app (soon to include the 3 you see above!), and you can customize yours to whatever your dietary preference is- vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. Plus, the meal plan includes a shopping list, which in my opinion, is half the battle in meal planning!
On the fitness end, there are a variety of short (10-20 minute) but effective workouts that are placed into your custom fitness plan based on what your goals are (build muscle, increase strength, shed a few lbs).
What I like best about the app is that the workouts can be done in your living room at home, without any gym equipment. Workouts range from core, arms, legs and HIIT sessions- plus there’s yoga!
You can download the 8fit app here, and be sure to keep an eye out for colorful kitchen recipes in your meal plan next month!
