My favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal has always been the side dishes. Even in my pre-veggie days I looked forward to the mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie, green beans and stuffing more then the main course.
Incase you’re still looking for a side dish or two for your feast, today I’m excited to share my recipe for Vegan, Gluten-Free Smoky Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Sweet, salty and smoky…I love this recipe because they are so full of flavor!
- 4 cups brussel sprouts
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 tbs tamari
- 2 tbs maple syrup
- 2 tsp liquid smoke
- salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Cut ends off brussels sprouts and slice in half.
- Stir all liquid ingredients together in a bowl. Add brussels sprouts and toss until throughly coated.
- Spread out over baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flipping hallway.
These little babies are so delicious! They’ll go perfectly with your Stuffing-Muffins….
